Pastor's Profile

Pastor David Hansen has served the congregation of St. John since July 2006.  Pastor David received his BA from Roanoke College, his MDiv from the University of the South (Sewanee), and did further graduate study at the Lutheran School of Theology at Gettysburg.

Pastor David was raised in a family with deep roots in the Lutheran church, and is the fourth generation of his family to serve as a Lutheran pastor.  He is passionate about the people of Christ's church, and their mission to share the Gospel with the world.

In his free time, Pastor David enjoys playing with his beautiful daughter, attempting to play golf, and is an avid reader.
